I’m looking for ways to keep individualized case plans from becoming generic checklists. I manage 28 inmates and run 10-minute Tuesday/Thursday check-ins with a simple two-column tracker (goal and step taken) so we can mark small wins — what tools or routines help you keep progress visible without eating your whole week?
In your 10‑min Tue/Thu check-ins, add a tiny “barrier code” beside “goal and step taken”. Useful?
I’ve found it helpful to periodically check in on the barriers each inmate faces, maybe have a dedicated section during those quick check-ins. It can really highlight progress or areas needing extra support. What do you think about expanding your tracker that way, @cwilson34?
And i try to incorporate a visual element, like a progress chart, to keep everyone motivated. It’s amazing how seeing growth visually can spark additional conversation. Have you considered adding that kind of tool to your routine?
